Flying Fifteen International New Zealand Incorporated Society
The Flying Fifteen New Zealand class association recently restructured itself into an Incoporated Society to fullfil a Yachting New Zealand requirement to better protect the interests of all current and future members of the class in New Zealand. The newly-adopted constitution together with minutes of recent Annual General Meetings and the President's annual reports are presented below. Association History: 1952 — 1972
The first New Zealand Flying Fifteens, Buttercup and Snowdrop, were launched in November 1952, but it was ten years before there was sufficent interest and momentum for forming a local organising body. However, on 3rd March 1963, at the conclusion of the first National Championship held at Lake Taupo, the national class association of Flying Fifteen New Zealand was officially launched.
